Ladybugs Are Beneficial Insects

Ladybugs are beneficial insects that we can attract to our garden. They are natural garden pests control, less expensive and safe for the family.  I saw a few on my brinjal plant. They consume aphids, mites, whiteflies and scale. They can be attracted to our garden by planting members of the daisy family (Compositae), tansy or yarrow.  My brinjal plant was recently attacked by whiteflies. I was busy treating the plant with organically prepared solution to treat my brinjal plant when I spotted this cutie ladybug crawling on one of the leaves.

Needless to say, I ran into the house , got hold of my Nikon and took a close-up image of this beautiful ladybug.  Once I have the camera in my hand, there is no stopping me. Until the clicking cravings is satiated, then only will I continue attending to my brinjal plant :)
